Repeal anti-family policies (start with abortion and anti-smacking laws) to strengthen families and ensure life is valued. Reform justice, welfare and education systems to protect the public, value victims and equip youth for work instead of crime. Implement income splitting and $20k tax free threshold to reduce burden (single income family on $40k will pay no tax). Why I’m running
I believe a healthy society is built on strong families, personal responsibility, the pursuit of truth and justice, and a moral code which values and respects every individual. Successive governments have undermined these foundations and I want to change this. Government's primary duty is to protect and defend the most vulnerable in society. I want to: empower parents (repeal the anti-smacking law); defend the unborn (repeal the new abortion law); uphold freedom of speech; encourage success.About me
I have one wife and two daughters who I want to grow up in a safe, prosperous country where everyone is valued and encouraged to succeed. Where government is accountable to the people instead of ruling over us. Where we can speak the truth without fear of being vilified, deplatformed, persecuted or prosecuted. As an engineer I am driven to solve problems and fix anything that is broken. As a Christian, my heart is for helping people. I despise red tape, and am willing to fight for what is right.Party list rank

I support the building of more affordable new homes to increase affordable housing options for all New Zealanders. Funding technology/innovative/visionary institutes and think-tanks to develop entrepreneurs and market innovators. I will not support advancements and investment in the 'adult entertainment' industry, alcohol, drugs or tobacco. Why I’m running
Greetings to all – I am humbled to be standing this 2020 election for the candidacy role for Mount Roskill. As a servant to the people of this community I will only support policies that will strengthen the holistic well being of all New Zealanders from all backgrounds and ethnic groups. I will uphold all Godly values to help create a positive pathway that will give all generations to come, a hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) Aotearoa New Zealand we are one.About me
I'm married and have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren. I grew up in an underdeveloped rural community called Taheke in the Hokianga so jobs were very hard to come by. Money was very scarce in our home so at the age of 14 I got my first job while attending Whangarei Girls High School. I have worked in a number of health and social service roles over the past 30 years which has given me an insight into the needs and the ongoing issues that people from all walks of life face in our nation.Party list rank

Use the Reserve Bank to fund water infrastructure so that we have water even in a drought, and no sewage on beaches. Help support people and businesses doing it tough due to Covid-19. Lobby the council to sort out its bloated bureaucracy and reduce rates for residents. Why I’m running
I believe that the money system should serve people, not the other way around. Banks create money and pump too much into housing, creating huge profits for themselves but unaffordable housing, inequality and poverty for ordinary kiwis. Once I learned how our money system worked I had two choices: use the knowledge to profit personally, or try to fix the system for everyone. I am standing at this election to try to improve the money system so that it works for the many, not just the few.About me
I am an Auckland businessman, employing 22 people at my manufacturing plant in Wiri and branches in Christchurch and China. Originally from Canada, I worked as a professional electrical engineer in Vancouver prior to immigrating to New Zealand in 1994. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering and a Diploma in Management. Married with two adult children, I have lived in the area for 23 years and held leadership positions as a volunteer in the community.Party list rank

Jump start the economy/jobs – GST from 15 percent to 10 percent in one year, 30 percent income tax rate to 17.5 percent, cut red tape/RMA. Control the debt – stop the out-of-control wasteful spending, balance books by 2023, no budget cuts to health and education. Invest in mental health and welfare reform, which underpins NZ's future. Why I’m running
I am standing to raise ACT's party vote in Mt Roskill. Why ACT? ...because I value diversity in humans, and believe in the power of individuals and families to create a positive and powerful difference in NZ. Solutions by government departments cannot match the combined innovation of a diverse community. Bad things have and are happening to good people. As a society we naturally innovate to adapt. ACT policies encourage and support innovation by enabling businesses in the community to respond.About me
I am a project manager, born in Whanganui, and have lived around Mt Roskill and Dominion Road for eight years with my wife and children. I have worked in public and private sector organisations, and recognise that many hard working, well intentioned people are trapped in frustrating and ineffective systems. I build teams and organisations that operate safely and effectively by leveraging technology and patterns in data – empowering people in the workplace to provide better outcomes for customers.Party list rank

Build healthy and affordable housing for people in our community. Every local family deserves a decent place to live. Real transport choice for local residents. The only way we beat congestion is with modern high quality public transport. Action on climate change and protecting our environment. The biggest challenge our generation faces; we must take action. Why I’m running
I am an optimist and a progressive. People working together have the power to change things for the better and that is why I am involved in politics as a Labour MP. Over recent months we have seen what our country can achieve with caring leadership and when we put the wellbeing of people first. In my beloved Mt Roskill and across NZ I want to see this approach continue to deal with the big issues we face such as climate change, decent housing for all, and giving every child a good start in life.About me
Mt Roskill is my home. I've lived here for many years and served the community in a range of roles meaning that I have plenty of experience to draw upon to represent local people and give Mt Roskill a strong voice in government. As local MP I am committed to being accessible and open and giving my time and energy to people from across our diverse communities. I am guided by core values including justice and dignity for all people, and the need to build strong inclusive communities together.Party list rank
