Why I’m running
I believe that the money system should serve people, not the other way around. Banks create money and pump too much into housing, creating huge profits for themselves but unaffordable housing, inequality and poverty for ordinary kiwis. Once I learned how our money system worked I had two choices: use the knowledge to profit personally, or try to fix the system for everyone. I am standing at this election to try to improve the money system so that it works for the many, not just the few.
I am an Auckland businessman, employing 22 people at my manufacturing plant in Wiri and branches in Christchurch and China. Originally from Canada, I worked as a professional electrical engineer in Vancouver prior to immigrating to New Zealand in 1994. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering and a Diploma in Management. Married with two adult children, I have lived in the area for 23 years and held leadership positions as a volunteer in the community.
