Why I’m running
I love our Northcote community, its views, rich history, diversity and proud community spirit. I'm standing for re-election as I see so much potential for our community to continue to be the best place to live, work and raise a family into the future. Although we face deep economic challenges, I believe with the right ideas, experience and vision our community and country can prosper in a post-Covid world. National is best placed to deliver for our community and I'm proud to be part of this team.
I live in Birkenhead with my fiancée Courtney. Elected in 2018, I am currently National's Spokesperson for Workplace Relations and Safety. I have over 10 years' experience as an economist and strategist working in NZ, Europe and Asia. I hold a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard University, where I attended as a Fulbright Scholar. I also hold degrees in Commerce (Hons) and Arts from the University of Auckland and completed a butcher's apprenticeship after high school.
