My local priorities
Improve animal welfare with stronger regulations and better enforcement. Improve education for children including focusing on life skills such as budgeting, healthy eating, and mental health. Create better tax regulations that target multinational corporations. Why I’m running
I want to help New Zealanders become more engaged and interested in politics and policies. To help encourage people to become more educated about how important their voice and vote is. Help show people that engagement with politics, including even just understanding how systems work and what parties actually stand for, is so important.About me
My grandmother and mother grew up in Northcote central. My siblings and I attended Northcote College and I believe Northcote's diversity is what makes it brilliant. I am open and transparent. I believe deflecting questions is far too common in politics. Politicians should be accountable and provide positive outcomes to the community they represent. I strongly believe our environment and ecosystems need urgent care and support. I am passionate about improving animal welfare in New Zealand.Party list rank

My local priorities
Invest in our people through providing more trades training, tertiary and job opportunities locally. Boost housing availability for first home buyers, increasing social housing and improving the quality of rentals. Revitalise our local retail centres and supporting business, cafes and restaurants to drive our local economy. Why I’m running
I bought my first house in Northcote 10 years ago and I've championed our community as Chair of the Birkdale Beach Haven Community Project. Labour's building over 1500 houses, the SkyPath has been fast-tracked for 2021 and we've invested over $5 million funding into local schools property and we're rebuilding Onepoto Primary and investing in $60m in Northcote College and much more. I love our local community and am invested in our future. But I can do even more if elected as our local MP.About me
I've served over 10 years in leadership and management in universities, wānanga and trades training and I will use this experience to invest in our local priorities as the MP – investment in jobs and training, the economy, health and housing. I believe in investing in our people, local retail centres and boosting housing availability for first home buyers. I want our local schools to receive more resourcing and classrooms and I want to champion the delivery of SkyPath in 2021.Party list rank

Transport: hold AT accountable for trialling a permanent clearway on Onawa Rd. Transport: ensure AT delivers a re-opened Northcote Pt ferry wharf for our community. Economy: promote policies which make it easy for businesses to hire staff and reduce unemployment. Why I’m running
I love our Northcote community, its views, rich history, diversity and proud community spirit. I'm standing for re-election as I see so much potential for our community to continue to be the best place to live, work and raise a family into the future. Although we face deep economic challenges, I believe with the right ideas, experience and vision our community and country can prosper in a post-Covid world. National is best placed to deliver for our community and I'm proud to be part of this team.About me

Poll the electorate to understand their concerns. Work with New Conservative and coalition partners to establish binding referenda. Establish an independent local conservative media platform to counter the leftist narrative. Why I’m running
I am deeply concerned that the news media are failing to properly inform the New Zealand people on several very important issues, to the degree that our freedom and democracy are threatened. From my studies of recent American politics and the history of revolutions, I am dismayed to see the USA being overcome by a Marxist revolution. I am determined to speak out to prevent the same from happening here in New Zealand.About me
I am a family man and a Christian, with a strong understanding of the purpose of my life and the lives of others. I have an inquisitive mind that is open to questioning the official narrative when there is clear evidence of corruption and hidden agendas. I believe in free speech and the liberty that comes for all citizens when people seek the truth and speak out.Party list rank

Reduce reliance on personal vehicles to get into and around the city by making public transport a better option. Encourage the opportunities that come from 'living local' to help revitalise our commercial and business centres. Look at ways for recreation, industry and transport to utilise the Waitemata harbour more efficient and cleanly. Why I’m running
New Zealand needs a strong voice for the environment willing to work with parties across the spectrum. Creating a sustainable New Zealand where people and the economy can thrive in harmony with nature is essential for generations to come. We need policy that makes it easy for people and companies to choose the environmental option and to foster innovation and sustainable industry practices and add value to our primary industries.About me
My wife and I recently chose Glenfield as a place to put down roots after having been lucky enough to live and work throughout New Zealand and around the world. As a news and travel visual journalist I've had the privilege of seeing behind the scenes on a wide variety of issues and believe strongly that the environment should be forefront of all our minds. Parliament needs a fresh approach to the environment that stretches across party lines and isn't tied up in left wing fringe issues.Party list rank
