My local priorities
Housing and all basic rights and freedoms. Every citizen of this land deserves their own home with food and living needs. Wipe student debt: youth need support and encouragement to cultivate their unique qualities. The burden of debt must go. Dental care: affordable and part of healthcare. Assistance and support for all, a new priority. Why I’m running
As a proud Kiwi and New Zealander I am standing as a voice of the people, for the people! The policies of Advance NZ will make sure that every New Zealander is supported in their basic rights and freedoms which includes the right to own their own home. I will make sure the people of New Zealand thrive, with the support of a government that supports them, not controls them! About me
An educationalist for 43 years, I'm passionate about encouraging young adults as well as children, to find their authentic voice, purpose and true vocation - whatever that may be. A secondary school teacher from 19 years old my experience shifted to an international workshop facilitator in multiple countries and continents. Entrepreneur. Business owner. Television and media production. Mother and grandmother. I bring innovation and passion to whatever I focus on. Palmerston North, I'm committed to you! Party list rank

Just transition that supports workers into clean energy jobs that help with climate action and protect biodiversity. Increase workplace rights for temporary migrant workers to ensure equality with local workers. Embed ecological sustainability and civics education in the curriculum. Why I’m running
I'm ready to be a progressive voice for Palmerston North in parliament. I have worked on social justice and environmental issues my entire life both here at home and around the world. In Pasifika communities I am known for my work in the education sector and climate change advocacy. In Māori communities I am known for my work on indigenous rights. I intend to take those skills and experiences into parliament and put them to work for the diverse communities that call Palmy home. About me
Palmy is a great place to raise children; to work and to be connected in Aotearoa New Zealand. The academic and research communities have some fantastic innovation happening, and we have vibrant arts and culture. But there are things we need to work on too: for too long, too many of us have been left behind and unable to put a warm roof over our heads or food on the table. We need more Green MPs in the government to set a better course for the future of our communities.Party list rank

My local priorities
Provide a fresh, strong and effective local voice to ensure strong representation in parliament and in government. Support our local economy (diversified private sector and solid public sector), to enable economic growth. Attract investment in Infrastructure to ensure people remain in employment and the local needs of the community are met. Why I’m running
I offer a fresh, strong and effective local voice in parliament for the city and community that I love. I have a proven track record and experience in serving our community to be a strong advocate for Palmerston North. We are in a safer, stronger position because of the actions that have been taken by Labour, and the plan that our party has for the future. I want to be part of the team that will continue to build on those successes for Palmerston North and it's people.About me
I'm Palmy proud. I was born here, educated here, studied here and work here – it is the place that my wider family and I call home. I have a professional background in education as a secondary school teacher, before moving into the local government sector. I'm a fourth term city councillor and have served as the city's deputy mayor for the last four years. I am driven by my values of equal access and opportunity, fairness, social justice and kindness; alongside a strong sense of integrity.Party list rank

Support proven local community housing providers and replace the RMA to get houses built in our city. Build the Manawatu Ring Road to get freight trucks off domestic roads making our city safer and helping local businesses. Create opportunities for people in our city to get into work by supporting students, job seekers, and current migrants. Why I’m running
I grew up in a family where I was told not to complain about something if I didn't want to do something about it. I was born and bred in Palmerston North and don't want to see our city get left off the map going into the 2020's. We need sensible, pragmatic solutions to problems in housing, transport, the economy, health, and the environment. We need a strong local MP in our city. I don't want to look back in 20 years time and regret not trying to make a difference.About me
I have been a passionate advocate for local issues, working to get funding for health programs in the Manawatū. My experience may be different to other candidates but I don't believe that makes it less valuable. I have been one of New Zealand's top youth diplomats, youth policy developers, and Youth MP for the Rangitīkei. Everybody in New Zealand no matter who they are deserves a fair chance in life. I want to help shape our country's future and add to the diversity of thinking in our democracy.Party list rank
