Why I'm standing

We live in a unique place within Lower Hutt. It is vital that we act to respond to the changes occurring from climate change and muster a community based response to the real and imminent threat presented by sea level rise, storm surges and coastal erosion before it becomes too late to act. It would be an honour to represent the views of all residents of our township and bays.

About me

I value integrity, transparency and honestly. My approach is to hear from people with a wide range of views and I am open to finding the best possible outcomes for the betterment of our community a whole. When consultation is genuine, better conclusions are reached and when a range of voices are involved, all have ownership of the decisions reached.

My priorities
  1. Empower community based decision-making. Give autonomy for the community to decide for ourselves.
  2. Ensure genuine consultation occurs and the community is empowered to participate and be heard.
  3. To maintain Hutt City Council's Living Wage accreditation and to work to make Eastbourne a living wage destination.
