Why I'm standing

The Matamata-Piako district is experiencing strong growth. We need to meet the challenges and expectation of our growing community and ensure we are providing the amenities and a vibrant CBD that will offer a superior lifestyle.

About me

I have worked for the community in my previous role of 22 years as the manager of the Matamata Public Relations Association and i_SITE Visitor Centre. I believe I am well informed of the needs of the community.

My priorities
  1. Review ageing infrastructure to meet the future needs of the community.
  2. Ensure I am a strong voice to support the council through the proposed Local Government New Zealand changes.
  3. I speak up.
