Why I'm standing

I've been fortunate to have experienced a rich and diverse public and private life and feel it beholding on me to contribute to the community.

About me

I've been a farmer, an entrepreneur/businessman and an academic. I have five children (one severally disabled) and have acquired knowledge along the way that that could be valuable when exercising the duties of a councillor.

My priorities
  1. Resolve the Three Waters issue so that health, safety and environmental needs are met and residents are accepting.
  2. Implement policy to detoxify runoff and wastewater to meet the highest international standards.
  3. Re-introduce a government-run Tourist Bureau to restore confidence in the NZ tourist product.
