Rātana Community Board

The Rātana Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Rangitīkei District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of five members: four members elected by voters, and one councillor from the Rangitīkei District Council. There will be no election this year because there are the same number of candidates as there are positions. Compare the candidates and their policies to decide who to vote for in the Rātana Community Board election.

Why I'm standing

My motivation is driven by my old people that sat in this position before me, and I hope to carry on in their footsteps.

About me

I have lived locally my whole life and I have been involved in many community organisations to provide support and advocacy.

My priorities
  1. Revitalisation of our waterways, natural kai sources, roading community projects.
  2. More Kaumātua flats, community pool facilities.
  3. Community hall.
