Why I'm standing

I have been serving in the background in Selwyn for many years. During this time I have observed what we are doing right and where we need to improve. We need to up our game in economic development and strategic innovation – community cohesion, cultivation, and enhancement – and sustainability by design. We are on the cusp of something special if we embrace our differences, take stock of our equity issues, and realise our shared ambition.

About me

My WHY is to UNIFY, it drives everything I do. I believe in playing a straight game, challenging the status quo, and working for the district – not sitting back within it. My background is predominantly in infrastructure, technology, education, emergency management, and governance. We need dynamic leaders, ones who understand the challenges and tools of today, to help create the future we all want to see. This is me.

My priorities
  1. Establish and activate: Selwyn economic development and strategic innovation agency – cross-council.
  2. Co-develop: Selwyn community cohesion ecosystem. Rediscovering community mana enhancement.
  3. Implement sustainability by design into local government impact decision-making. 4th priority: tech.
