Why I'm standing

I am concerned about the roll out of an agenda that we as a nation were not consulted on. Systemic change is being ushered in without transparency or fair consultation. Change in NZ should be driven by NZ not global public-private partnerships.

About me

A born and bred Southlander, I have spent most of the past 17 years residing and farming in the Kapuka, Mokotua and Rimu areas. I stand for integrity, will encourage truth and open robust discussion. I will advocate for the people in my community. I will work to ensure they are informed and their voice is heard.

My priorities
  1. Improve communication between council and community to enable better consultation.
  2. Absolute transparency on all reforms to ensure my community understands long term outcomes.
  3. Rates collected in Southland should be used in Southland.
