Why I'm standing
A Whau resident with roots deeply planted in this locality, family man with young kids going to local schools and playing at local sports clubs, Whau has served me well and it's my turn to give it back to the area and community I love and pay it forward for our future generations. I believe west is best and want to be a fresh positive voice and a catalyst to make Whau best in Auckland.
About me
Environment is dear to my heart. As a board member of Whau river catchment trust it's gratifying to have been part of putting thousands of trees in the ground around Whau and helping keep Whau river clean. As a member of Waitākere Ethnic board, I take pride in working with various ethnic including wider communities to build a stronger and diverse West Auckland. It is important to acknowledge and celebrate our community potential and harness through social cohesion.
My priorities
- More green spaces and healthy environment. Kaitiakitanga is pivotal for our future generations.
- Youth development. They are our future and their well being is significant and lays the future path.
- Accessible public transport will be major game changer to encourage people and reduce traffic jams.
