Botany electorate

Botany runs from Cockle Bay in the North to Flat Bush in the south and includes Botany Downs and East Tāmaki. The seat is currently held by National's Christopher Luxon, who won comfortably with a margin of 3,999. In 2020, Labour won the greatest share of party votes in Botany – 47% to National's 37%. A majority (50%) of the Botany electorate were born overseas – the highest of any electorate.
