Why I'm standing

I want to help enable an innovative and diverse range of community services, events and activities that benefit and enrich the lives of all Far North residents.

About me

I have been fortunate to have lived in several countries in different parts of the world, and coming home to Aotearoa New Zealand made me realise how lucky we are to have what we have here. Bringing a wealth of commercial sense and community spirit to a local government role is a responsibility and challenge I am ready for.

My priorities
  1. Ensure that arts and culture are fairly represented, and are supported financially by council.
  2. Tackle increasing pollution – particularly air pollution caused by spring burn-offs.
  3. Make all public tracks accessible to all responsible dog walkers (including selected Department of Conservation tracks).
