Why I'm standing

I'm passionate about the district, it's wellbeing and future. I care about people, their visions and sustainability of the region. We are a great community going through big challenges but we pull together and are going to come out better. I'm very involved in the community so believe I bring good representation to the table. My interest is over the breadth of matters addressed by council. I want to ensure affordability and long term strategy.

About me

I've been an active member of community for over 40 years. Buller District councillor for three years. Understand local government, the challenges and opportunities for our district. Hold a Bachelor of Business degree, Certificate in Project Management and bring a broad range of practical skills, experience and knowledge from business and community roles and volunteer involvement. I work collaboratively for positive change. I am a good listener, make sound, informed decisions, a strong advocate and committed to role.

My priorities
  1. Commitment and service to community role. Ensure that Buller is a great place to live, work and play.
  2. Prudent management of council finance, assets and infrastructure. Intergenerational, affordable.
  3. Build a healthy, vibrant and resilient community. Identify and manage risks. Work collaboratively.
