Why I'm standing

I can give Hornby the experienced representation it needs on council as I have a proven track record of listening to Hornby's needs, representing them well to council, then working to deliver the results Hornby needs. I am passionate about and committed to Hornby and want to make Hornby the best corner of Christchurch to live, work, and play in. I want to see Hornby thrive!

About me

I chose Hornby as home for my family some 16 years ago. I am an active and committed member of Hope Presbyterian. I led the Save Denton Park Group to successfully battle to save our park together with local sports clubs and supporters. I have been an elected community board member for the past three years helping get stuff done for Hornby and helped deliver the Hydrotherapy Pool into the Matatiki Hornby Centre.

My priorities
  1. Ensure Hornby gets all it needs from Council, roading infrastructure must improve to meet our need.
  2. Improve council listening to us the people and getting done what we need them to do efficiently!
  3. Improve Hornby parks, public spaces, and facilities, increase tree canopy, establish a Hornby Bush.
