Why I'm standing

I am standing for re-election as I believe more needs to be done to address the challenges facing our city. I want to build on the positive investments in Linwood to make improvements that benefit the community. I am deeply concerned that council is gold plating the central city at the expense of the suburbs and that this must stop.

About me

I am an experienced city councillor focused on standing up for social and environmental justice around the council table. At a local level, I've been a strong advocate on things that make a positive difference in our area such as the building of the Linwood Pool and the restoration of Lancaster Park for recreation and sports use. I live in Woolston and am proud to be from the east.

My priorities
  1. Fixing the basics with improved maintenance of parks, playgrounds, roads, footpaths, and cemeteries.
  2. Relocation of the organics plant and permanent fix for Wastewater Treatment Plant to stop the stench.
  3. Addressing environmental inequity that allows industrial activities to ruin residential areas
