Why I'm standing

I believe there is still much work to do to improve the Fiordland area for residents and visitors. We are only part way through implementing the Community Futures Plan and there is still much work to do to bring all the communities ideas to fruition. I want to continue to support business diversification so we become even more resilient to the various pressures we face in today's modern world.

About me

I have nine years experience on the community board with four of these as Chair. I am known for getting things done, for building connections and supporting a community led approach to leadership. I will bring my skills as a strategic leader, change manager and wellbeing professional to the role along with my personal and business experiences to support this. I am a leader, listener and communicator. Using these skills, we will make things better.

My priorities
  1. Deliver on all elements of the Fiordland Community Board Community Futures Plan.
  2. Sort housing issues including affordable housing, worker accommodation and social/ emergency housing.
  3. Develop infrastructure necessary to support future diversification and growth sustainably.
