Why I'm standing

I want you to be involved and excited about Foxton, Foxton Beach and the Horowhenua District as a whole. Opportunities and challenges abound. My vision is for a thriving community that exceeds your expectations. A community where you are listened to, where your contribution is valued. A community where stuff gets done through great leadership. I get stuff done. That's why I want to be your councillor and/or your community board member.

About me

I am proud to live here. I am a proven, no-nonsense business leader and change agent. I chair the Foxton Beach Progressive Association Incorporated. I now want to achieve more for our valuable community. There is considerable work to be done: lifting the performance of council, managing the impacts of multiple government reforms and transformational growth and juggling the challenges of climate change and emerging technologies. I am simply the best. My time is now.

My priorities
  1. Proactively represent our diverse communities and lead on a community strategy that unites us.
  2. Make the hard decisions about how we rate and ultimately deliver services.
  3. Optimise management of our signifiant growth challenge and opportunity for today and tomorrow.
