Why I'm standing

I am running for council to be an approachable, community-minded voice for the Miranui ward. I believe our community has significant potential, but also needs a long-term future focused mindset to overcome challenges associated with growing populations.

About me

I am passionate about the Horowhenua District and am focused on enabling change. I am part of a rural business which has operated in the area for over 40 years. With business acumen, formal education, former leadership roles and governance experience I bring a range of skill sets to the council table.

My priorities
  1. Be honest and transparent as a councilor.
  2. Give rural a voice and representation on the big issues that affect them.
  3. Support the smaller towns within our district to become more vibrant and attractive places.
