Why I'm standing

I'm standing for the Howick Local Board to serve my community. I love living in Botany and want to use my skills and experience to help others in East Auckland. As a city we're facing big challenges and our local boards need to work together to tackle the big issues. I know it can be done – I've seen local boards work effectively to deliver for their communities.

About me

I have over 15 years of business improvement experience, working in large, complex organisations eliminating waste, improving delivery and cutting through bureaucracy. I'm a member of NZ Institute of Directors, with community and commercial governance experience. I've spent the last few years volunteering alongside other passionate locals to make our community safer, promote local tourism and provide opportunities for local youth.

My priorities
  1. Provide open and honest communication on council decisions and how they will impact our community.
  2. Ensure that Flat Bush Library and Community Centre is delivered as promised, with no further delays.
  3. Invest in facilities like Lloyd Elsmore Skatepark to ensure they're fit for purpose.
