Why I'm standing

I am standing for Lower Hutt County Council Western Ward to see the completion of the Hutt Riverlink flood plain management, of which I was the Greater Wellington Hutt Representative Chair for many years. Melling, Alicetown and Belmont flat plus Lower Hutt city are all flood-prone.

About me

I am a former regional councillor and Hutt Valley District Health Board member. Experienced chair and bring this to the city council table.

My priorities
  1. Restore control over spending and stop the excessive rate increases.
  2. Genuinely consult and put the people before politics.
  3. Review operations and fix broken services.
