Endeavour to reduce entry fees to the recreation centre swimming facilities particularly for children over school holidays.
Continue to support community events such as Christmas in the Park.
Continue to support Aratoi arts centre. Consult with Golden Shears on stadium upgrade.
Expand library on present site with existing allocation of funds.
Preserve our open spaces, parks and recreational lakes.
Ensure an active and continuous asset management plan is in place to maintain and enhance all community assets.
Support community led events and initiatives that enhance our town and promote the wellbeing of our community.

Encourage more events in the town paid for by organisers. Would bring in revenue and raise profile for the town.
Carry out a feasibility study for an off leash dog park. This will encourage good dog ownership, more sociable dogs and less issues.
Look into a youth only cafe in town where they can meet and enjoy a safe environment. Encourage youth leaders to develop.
