Mataura Community Board

The Mataura Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Gore District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of five members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.     Biodiversity and pest control: reduce/eliminate predators in the area by using pesticides, physical barriers and natural pest enemies.

    Waste minimisation and management – educate and support generators (residents, visitors, and businesses).
