Pātea Community Board

The Pātea Community Board represents your local community and advocates to South Taranaki District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of five members: four members elected by voters, and one councillor from the South Taranaki District Council. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. About me

I am experienced within our community and have served this community for many years with governance experience. My iwi are Ngāti Ruanui me Ngā Rauru me Te Pakakohi and my 'apū Rangitaaw'i.

My priorities

Protect our moana, awa and w'enua. Stop sea bed mining.
Clean up and build a wharf to encourage economic development.
Move to co-governance with iwi within local government.
