Why I'm standing
I am standing for election for the Raumati Community Board, because I want to help make Raumati a better and safer community for all who live here, and an even more attractive and welcoming place for the many who visit Raumati. I think when we talk with each other, listen to each other, respect our different views we can find great solutions to difficult or stubborn issues.
About me
I am committed to listening and engaging as widely as possible. I am committed to creating more opportunities and easier ways for people to put their views forward. I bring many years of community development experience in different countries around the world.
My priorities
- To encourage and facilitate engagement with the community board for all members of our community.
- To ensure our community services are well maintained and expanded to cater for increased need.
- To make sure community is engaged, heard and is influential in plans to redevelop the Kāpiti airport.
