Why I'm standing

The community deserves someone who is in touch with the wants and needs of the wider community. For too long we have promoted a culture of status-quo politics in our district and now is the time for innovative thinking and change, a perspective which I will happily bring and action around the council table.

About me

My experience lies in service to communities, from local, to regional and at national levels, I have dedicated my entire working life to progressing the needs of people. I feel the district needs someone honest, unafraid to challenge, direct and upfront and willing to acknowledge faults, all traits which have guided me in all my roles of service thus far. I am a champion advocate for the people I represent.

My priorities
  1. For the South Waikato to be a district where people can afford to live and thrive.
  2. Promote positive marketing of the district and engage in more tourism to the district.
  3. Support community groupings to support the wider community.
