Why I'm standing

A passion to serve our community is what has driven me to run for council this term. I believe the Tararua is a wonderful place to raise a family and want to contribute to the community that my children are growing up in. It is time for the younger people of the Tararua to stand up and be involved in the future development of our community.

About me

I am Dannevirke born and bred and before having my second child I worked in customer services at the Tararua District council, so I have heard first hand what your concerns and frustrations are. With the passion I have for our district I will serve the people of the Tararua with respect, inclusion and transparency.

My priorities
  1. Dannevirke's water supply is at the forefront. Clear, honest communication around this is paramount.
  2. I intend to maintain a close overview on our roading network which is essential to our district.
  3. Improving old and establishing new recreational facilities for the children and youth – our future.
