Waihopai Toetoe Community Board

The Waihopai Toetoe Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Southland District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of eight members: seven members elected by voters, and one councillor from the Southland District Council.  This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.     The building consent process hopefully may see some improvement when the Resource Management Act is tidied up.
