Local governments play a central role in protecting the environment, reducing waste and safeguarding biodiversity. The worsening state of New Zealand’s lakes and rivers is a major challenge for local councils, which work with regional councils in the management of water resources in their area.

Working as a volunteer in trails connectivity partnered with Walking Access already, I intend to progress the implementation of these plans.
Support our rural businesses in their already proactive work to extend and share waste minimisation information that is approximately one third of the total waste.
Support clean drinking water for all humanity with robust and informed information, with appropriate costs of alternatives clear for understanding.
