Why I'm standing

I know it's possible to restore a degraded catchment, to make it the best. I have done it. Raglan was not a place most liked to be 30 years ago. Now one of the best. I have been elected based on that achievement. Not for the number of plastic signs with my cheesy grin haha. I work with the top 80% of farmers for all the right reasons.

About me

I was born in Raglan my grandfather and father farmed here, I farmed then commercial fisher on a trawler. I created Whāingaroa Harbour Care 27 years ago to restore our harbour. 2.3 million trees grown and planted success. Fishing is now great, our rivers are fenced off. I helped other care groups all over NZ. Now helping farmers plant for carbon neutral. Search the web Raglan Harbour Care.

My priorities
  1. Head-off climate change. You know why!
  2. Water security. You know why!
  3. Community wellbeing. You know why!
