Why I'm standing

I have enjoyed my first term and I want to continue to contribute to making Cambridge the best provincial town in New Zealand. After my first three year term I feel that I have unfinished business particularly in working on the project Connecting Cambridge to develop an effective and efficient transportation network with a third river crossing, good public transport and minimal conjestion.

About me

I am hardworking. I do the research on the issues. I maintain my integrity of my position on the key issues. I listen to what my constituents say about the issues. Through having these attributes I believe the people of Cambridge can have confidence that I will represent them effectively around the council table. I have also maintained 100% attendance at all council meetings, main committees, and most of council working groups.

My priorities
  1. Continue to advocate for the identification of the site for the third river crossing for Cambridge.
  2. Contribute to Connecting Cambridge Transport Review for effective and efficient vehicle movement.
  3. Work to bring forward the Introduction of public transport service to connect suburbs with the CBD.
