Why I'm standing

I love Hornby! Having been involved with community development programs in this area for over 40 years I have a good understanding of this area and am keen to share that knowledge, I with a good work ethic and plenty of ideas I think I will be a useful member of the board.

About me

I am a keen hunter and fisherman, I have served as a union representative for 15 years and have served as a leader in Scouting NZ for 25 years. I am currently attending local church at St Columbus, all this plus my community work makes me an experienced candidate with good local connections and experience.

My priorities
  1. Continue to grow Hornby in a manner which puts the people first with great facilities.
  2. Help all organisations be properly funded and supported so they can grow to their full potential.
  3. Be involved in ensuring our roads and footpaths are all well maintained to a high standard.
