Why I'm standing

I care deeply about Whakatāne, and want to see the Whakatāne District thrive and continue to be a wonderful place to live and raise a family.

About me

I am actively involved in many community groups and would bring a fresh, positive, inclusive and future-focussed perspective to the role of councillor. I have a track record of team work, listening and getting things done. My two terms serving on the Whakatāne-Ōhope Community Board has given me an understanding of Local Government and an appreciation for good process in community engagement and co-design. I have recently become a Resource Consent Hearings Commissioner.
