Why I'm standing

I want to represent and advocate for all people and their interests. Rising costs, bored youth committing crime, businesses disappearing from the CBD, spending not being spread to the rural communities.

About me

I was brought up in rural NZ so have a great understanding of tight knit communities, farming, agriculture and the environment. I not only tick a lot of the boxes in regard to what people are looking for, I'm in my early 30s with the necessary energy and life experience, I am able to commit to this appointment long term as an autonomous company director experienced in financial management, decision making and working within a team.

My priorities
  1. Slow down rising rates increases.
  2. Open accountable council with less bureaucracy.
  3. Put focus back on providing basic infrastructure and meeting the needs of the average ratepayer.
