Why I'm standing
I am standing as a candidate for the Animal Justice Party because I believe in a more compassionate future for all. Non-human animals are sentient beings and deserve to be treated as such. The time for change is now and I am passionate about bringing our policies, backed by science and research, to the forefront.
About me
Born and raised in the Bay Of Plenty, I have experienced first hand the pros and cons of living in a rapidly growing region. With such growth, animals have been neglected in our future planning, and I believe my passion and determination are what our community needs to bring about change.
My priorities
- Support and improve access to quality housing for people and companion animals.
- Support local councils to improve public transport to include companion animals.
- Support and allocate funding towards the desexing of companion animals.
