Why I'm standing

I am standing as a candidate for the Animal Justice Party because I believe in a more compassionate future for all. Non-human animals are sentient beings and deserve to be treated as such. The time for change is now and I am passionate about bringing our policies, backed by science and research, to the forefront.

About me

Born and raised in the Bay Of Plenty, I have experienced first hand the pros and cons of living in a rapidly growing region. With such growth, animals have been neglected in our future planning, and I believe my passion and determination are what our community needs to bring about change.

My priorities
  1. Support and improve access to quality housing for people and companion animals.
  2. Support local councils to improve public transport to include companion animals.
  3. Support and allocate funding towards the desexing of companion animals.
