| MP for Tāmaki
I love living, working, and serving the Tāmaki community. I enjoy listening to locals' ideas and concerns and representing those into the parliament to effect change in policy and legislation. It is also about helping individuals and families with their needs – be this immigration to housing, transport issues to healthcare, and everything else in between.
Tāmaki is my home. It is where my wife and family (I have five step kids) have built our lives and incorporated ourselves into the community. We know this area and its people well. Being the MP also means I have built a strong network of contacts which I use to help locals every day. I am also someone whose whole life has been about service, and this continues in the electorate and in parliament.
