Why I'm standing
Born and raised in Tai Tokerau, I'm firmly committed to the North and the wellbeing of our entire community. As an advocate for He Whakaputanga me Te Tiriti o Waitangi, I seek to provide connected local voice on issues of significance for Tai Tokerau hapu and iwi. I am a strong believer in equity for all and improving outcomes for our peoples.

I am born and raised in Tai Tokerau and firmly committed to advocating for our people of the rohe. I have a diverse career portfolio in health, education and primary industries at operational and governance levels and have stood twice in local government elections. I am hapu and iwi connected and accountable, my kaupapa is constitutional transformation underpinned by He Whakaputanga me Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
My priorities
- Constitutional transformation implementing Matike Mai – this is a priority for Nga Hapu o Ngapuhi.
- Climate change adaptation planning with hapu and iwi of Tai Tokerau.
- Sustainable economic development – Tai Tokerau requires significant investment in infrastructure.
