Why I'm standing

Wanting to offer my skills. Wanting to contribute rather than criticise. I am old enough to have life experience, and young enough to offer that experience for a few more years. I want to have some say in our future. I also want to learn some more life lessons. I want to know I put up my hand and offered to help at a time when we are nearly financially finished if we don't change.

About me

I am truly independent of any political party, but have been a member of Labor and National over 35 years ago. I have been elected as a successful union delegate at the regional hospital several years ago. I feel that the policies I want initiated will need some level of bi-partisan support to really be implemented without interference. I am the person to vote for, being the only candidate for Kiwibank investment in water.

My priorities
  1. Fund by Kiwisaver pension scheme to provide capital and stability for private dam and water tank.
  2. Reduce and maintain current rate levels by user pay for council facilities with exemption for homeless and those without work.
  3. Use in-house staff to do physical work and to administrate, with contracting costing $66 million in 2024.
