Why I'm standing

I believe that we are overrating the ratepayers and need to be more fiscally responsible. I believe the current model will mean many people will not be able to own and maintain their properties because the cost of rates keeps rising and services are decreasing.

About me

I will bring to the council table practical skills, having worked in the public service in a governance position and in a community governance position with a trust. I have owned and run two successful businesses in the area and have knowledge of both sides of running and managing a variety of areas.

My priorities
  1. Value for money for ratepayers.
  2. Ensure accountability for council members and council staff to provide value for money for ratepayers.
  3. Make use of the council generally an easier process while ensuring value for money for ratepayers.
