Why I'm standing

I believe I've done a good job, am the best candidate for the job and wish to continue for another three years.

About me

I'm honest and transparent. I say it how it is. I'm not afraid to ask questions, ruffle the right feathers or call out shenanigans. I have a proven track record of getting things done. I have a proven to ability to work with council colleagues, MPs and Ministers from all different political leanings and parties to get results.

My priorities
  1. Make Halswell accessible to get around for everyone regardless of age or physical ability.
  2. Ensure growth pays for growth so unaffordable costs do not all fall on existing ratepayers.
  3. Use development contributions from the 3,000 to 4,000 plus new builds in Halswell wisely and locally.
