Why I'm standing

We risk losing critical focus on the central city as the heart of our Garden City if we give free rein to developer-led housing intensification in residential neighbourhoods. Twenty per cent of the people living in Rolleston lived in Christchurch less than five years ago. We are driving our families out.

About me

I have lived in Riccarton with my family for more than 20 years, and for half that time as Chair of the local residents' association. As a former journalist, I am used to asking hard questions. I am experienced, determined, and pragmatic.

My priorities
  1. Promote a safe, clean, family-friendly Riccarton.
  2. Promote more trees, more green spaces, and housing densification done well and in the right places.
  3. Support the rejuvenation of the Riccarton Road and Church Corner commercial zones.
