Why I'm standing

I believe Tai Tokerau potential is half tapped. I see health and wellbeing services are stretched. I want to invest in local communities to resolve issues and contract local businesses to repair roading.

About me

I am running for the Māori ward. Māori ward councillors bring resolution to simple issues that have been ignored in council. Long standing Māori issues are being addressed, saving unnecessary grief, legal costs and risk to reputation.

My priorities
  1. Complete both Kaitaia Airport runways, safety and fuel security for growing hospital services.
  2. Stop 17 wastewater plants dumping tutae into our harbours by using new technology land disposal instead.
  3. Ensure even share of pūtea and projects across the district. Seal 54 marae and 10 kōhanga reo roads.
