Why I'm standing

I am running in the Wairoa subdivision because I grew up here and love the place and want to keep it great.

About me

I have a long history with the Franklin Ward having grown up in Maraetai and Beachlands and worked in the wider Franklin Ward. I have a good understanding of the issues here. My time teaching both overseas and locally and in leadership roles has given me experience in working with people from many backgrounds.

My priorities
  1. Upgrade major roads in the ward to make them safer and less congested.
  2. Support sustainable development and oppose inappropriate development to keep Wairoa beautiful.
  3. Stop council wasting money and focus on key services such as roads, parks, water and rubbish.
