Why I'm standing

I believe Golden Bay could be the sustainable capital of NZ. I believe our future depends on building a sustainable, inclusive community for everyone. I see further opportunities for improvement and am eager to continue contributing. I want a good relationship with the rest of the district including Richmond.

About me

I have lived in Mohua Golden Bay for 38 years, becoming deeply connected to this unique and vibrant region. I own three businesses which are very community based. I host a breakfast radio show where I interview different people in the community about amazing things they do. I am well connected to many different people from all sub-cultures of the bay. I believe in community and a collaborative approach to finding solutions to be better.

My priorities
  1. Sustainability in an isolated community is the key for our future.
  2. Plan low-cost housing and alternative accommodation, composting toilets and wastewater systems.
  3. Support the arts and have an art strategy for Tasman.
