Why I'm standing

I am passionate about this community and the environment. We have lost so much of our biodiversity and nature over decades and we owe it to future generations to enhance our natural environment. We face uncertainty politically and environmentally. More frequent storm events will continue to impact our community. This leads to higher rates, insurance and impact on our people. We need long term thinking and leadership to help us focus on these issues together.

About me

With 6 years experience at Horizons Regional Council I have a proven track record of working with people and the community. I show up. I engage. I listen. I am focused on building relationships and seeing where there is common ground. Our community is diverse and there are many views and opinions. Finding common ground enables us to work together for the good of each other.

My priorities
  1. Work with nature as it is cheaper and better for all to have a healthy environment.
  2. Focus development and growth on transport corridors to ensure public transport works for all.
  3. Work with the community and ensure Kāpiti has a strong voice in Wellington to stand up for all.
