The mayor is the leader of the council. Their job is to promote a vision for the district and lead the development of the council’s plans, policies and budget. Why I'm standing
I have researched and promoted a money-free Resource Based Economy alternative to our catastrophic money-based system for over 15 years. This RBE system embraces all advances in human development, knowledge, technological progress and in our understanding of Earth's socio-ecological realities, most of which were not previously known. We have an unprecedented opportunity to begin the process of introducing this new paradigm. It's at least worth a closer look. Isn't it?
About me
My first adult 15 years were spent as a licenced aircraft maintenance engineer. You trusted me and that system with your life. The next 15 years were as an airline transport pilot. More trust. Systems and people with integrity, logic and unequalled reliability. These last 15 years I've researched and tested a money-free Resource Based Economy. This system looks promising too. We're running out of options. Perhaps now's the time to look into something different?
My priorities
- Take care of the immediate needs of people and the environment because money will no longer be restrictive.
- Consult widely on opportunities enabled by the introduction of a money-free Resource Based Economy.
- Manifest a new future by undertaking personal, social, infrastructural and environmental restoration projects.
