Why I'm standing

I am running because I believe our council has lost sight of the basics. Rates keep rising while everyday services are being neglected. I want to bring the focus back to people; listening to our communities, fixing what matters most, and running council responsibly. I've lived the struggles many face, and I know we can do better. I'm standing to serve with optimism, fairness, and real solutions for Hauraki.

About me

I will make a good representative because I listen first and act with integrity. I bring lived experience of the challenges many in our district face, and I know how to turn struggle into solutions. My strengths are optimism, resilience, and a genuine commitment to people. I am independent, approachable, and not tied to old networks. I will work with anyone to deliver fairness, transparency, and a council that serves its community.

My priorities
  1. Get council finances in order so rates are fair and services are properly funded.
  2. Fix roads, drains and footpaths first to keep families, seniors and communities safe.
  3. Put people first by listening, engaging openly and ensuring fairness across all towns.
