Why I'm standing

I believe the 36% increase in rates over the last three years is crippling ratepayers with very little to show for it. I know how to cut waste, manage budgets and hold decision makers accountable.

About me

I am a member of the ACT Party and am running as an ACT local candidate. My experience is proven in solving problems and cutting waste. My commitment is to the residents of Hauraki treating all equally and resisting ideological distractions. Local government is there to serve ratepayers – not itself.

My priorities
  1. No rate increases above inflation and go line by line through expenditures to cut nice-to-haves.
  2. Push for full scrutiny of council spending so residents know how their money is being used.
  3. Lower rates, open council and focus on core service rather than political agendas.
