Why I'm standing

I am dedicated to ensuring Waihī remains a great place to live, where everyone can thrive, feel supported and remain connected. I am concerned about the rising cost of living and how it impacts on our community.

About me

I have lived in Waihī for 11 years and am involved in a number of community groups. I have governance experience, am a good listener and bring skills in communication, leadership, collaboration and financial management. I will put our community's needs first in any decision making.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for central government to pay a portion of Crown mineral royalties to the council.
  2. Implement Waikato Water Done Well collective of seven district councils to ensure cost efficiency.
  3. Fund community events that align with council values and priorities and demonstrate economic impact.
