Why I'm standing

It's time for new, fresh, visionary leadership for Horizons. I have the leadership, passion, experience and dedication to get the mahi done. By addressing the climate emergency, protecting the environment for the next generation, and getting council to focus on what is actually important we can build a future that is mokopuna driven and tupuna inspired. I am experienced, dedicated, passionate, and most importantly, prepared. Prepared to make a difference for our mokopuna.

About me

I'm from a close-knit rural community of Raetihi. I've been raised with grassroots values of hard work, kindness and agility. Getting the work done. I'll make a good councillor because I believe that we all have a role to play in today's world and I'm ready to give back to the community that raised me. I have the experience, I have the passion, and I'm ready to get to work.

My priorities
  1. Uphold kaitiakitanga through meaningful actions that safeguard taiao for future generations.
  2. Tackle the climate emergency head-on by working on solutions shaped by communities.
  3. Strive for sustainable economic growth that creates opportunities for people while caring for the environment.
