Why I'm standing

I live in an amazing community that cares for each other but the cost of living here is fast becoming unaffordable.

About me

I am a proactive communicator and believe in giving back to my community. I have lived here permanently since 2015 with our home being in extended family ownership for more than 30 years. I spend a lot of my time doing volunteer work, mainly in the environmental space. I bring strong experience in governance, financial management and business. I enjoy sharing knowledge to make others understand issues.

My priorities
  1. Gain an understanding of rates calculations and cost pressures to support reductions.
  2. Lobby central government for a rates cap so people can have certainty in costs of ownership.
  3. Ensure the agreement signed to create the Three Waters company protects and benefits ratepayers.
